GWB has done more thus far, in the area of increased border protection than any previous administration.

You couldn't prove it where I live. Illegal alien traffic is up 114% over this time last year and last year's level sucked.

The Border Patrol is undermanned and under-equipped for the job they are trying to do. So why does Dubya's FY 2005 proposed budget cut the Border Patrol's funding by $130 million?

Maybe because he thinks our borders are meaningless?

I do not have to, it is a fact regardless of what you see.

Since INS was folded into HS, the border has indeed been strenghtened,

Bush has said, that much more needs to be done and legislation must be written and funded by congress to do just that.

Gasp! No wonder the Border Patrol personnel are so discouraged. Actively undermine their efforts while cutting their pay.

Wait a minute, a Bush backer is 'splaining it to me....hmmm....Oh, I see now, Bush needed this money to fund the National Endowment for the Arts.
