In fact, there is a whole industry built around this bastardization of conservative principles. Anyone can go to the Original Dissent.com website and see the absurdity or worse of your statement above. Whether one agrees with the views there or not, there is a whole folder dedicated to things neoconservative and their betrayal of America, most of them pulled from the neo-cons themselves in their own words.
