Good info on who is behind all this.
To: John Lenin
Its not exactly front-page news when the national media starts singing from the DNC hymnal. It's not about nice things such as singing and hymnals. The better analogy is that when it comes to the DNC, our national media swallows.
To: John Lenin
This guy nails it. Not only did they switch tracks, changing the "no WMD's found" to the baseless AWOL story; they got all the radical right wingers back on GW's side. Terry is our best friend! It almost appers like they are going out of their way to make sure they can only lose!

The clumsy Terry McAwful and his tin ear masters Hillary and Bill miserably fail again, despite their near total control of the media.
I love this. What a pack of incompetent lying losers!!
Keep it up weasels!! There will be Republican domination for a generation.

Yes, it is. And my favorite part from the article is "partisan political fantasy concocted by Michael "The Next Fact I Get Right Will Be the First" Moore and that serial election loser Terry McAuliffe." ! LOL!

What if the AWOL stoories were true? Do they think I'd change my vote? My alternative would be to vote for a democrat, and all democrats have been AWOL from Love of God and Country for decades.
I've heard it but didn't believe it, but I believe it now. The Clintons are trying to throw this election.

Scott McClellan sucks. Get Ari back in there - he'll bitch-slap the WH press corps for raising this bogus issue.

I find it soooo interesting that the RNC cannot come up with better talking points against the DNC.
If Bush was AWOL and/or did not fulfill his duties, how could he possibly have learned how to fly the fighter jet and become a fighter pilot?
Do you learn how to fly a fighter jet in as little time as he supposedly spent in the National Guard?
Also, after forty years, he seemed to remember how to fly that military plane when he landed on the aircraft carrier last year.
Also, what are all those pictures of him serving in the National Guard, both in the plane and at the base?
Also, what about this fellow that is now coming out stating that Bush and Company led a cover up on his military records (in 1997). This gentleman (do not know his name)said he saw these people dispose of Bush military records in the garbage can (of which he said he took out and read)! If you are going to cover up by taking care of this damaging paperwork, has anyone heard of a setting papers on fire, instead of putting a folder marked George W. Bush in the garbage can?
Something to think about.

I agree, Ari was the best, they should have gave him whatever he wanted to stay on through the election. He would have made mince meat out of the WH press corps.

Thanks for the ping. I've sent a link to Gen. Turnipseed. It's one of the fairest write-ups I've seen yet.

I say - let them spend their time, money and effort on such fruitless efforts. I don't believe GWB has ever been worried about this and could EASILY quash this,
were he to find that necesary.
Otherwise - let the spinners spin, expending capital and effort to no end.

The better analogy is that when it comes to the DNC, our national media swallows. But - but - but - isn't that a prejudgmental moralistic pronouncement citing uninformed prejucicial preferences to induce unsympathetic perceptions in the reader? You mean swallowing is bad?
Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww...
To: John Lenin
Just read 'From Here to Eternity' a truly awful book, there was a sergeant, a character, named Turnipseed in it. A creep. James Jones was known for using real names.

I hope the baseless attacks on Bush continue. First of all, it ticks off the GOP base - or "sub" base, if you will - in a big way, which translates into a greater number of them voting (rather than staying home or voting for "protest" candidates). And secondly, it usually turns off the center if carried to extremes .....especially when done with non-stories like this one.

Sorry....I probably shouldn't have posted that...or at least not quite that way!
Point was: I don't even like it when this author (who gets it right) portrays the DNC-Media Industrial Complex as choirboys.....
