The media is not reporting it. Too busy running front page articles about Bush being AWOL without a shred of evidence and how Kerry is sweeping the primaries and is a war hero.

Funny how the existence of anti-Bush rumors is story enough and they can be checked out later. Anti-Democrat rumors are not stories in themselves must be proven beyond a reasonable doubt before they can be acknowledged to exist.

But I wouldn't get too upset about the double standard. Within days, everyone but everyone will know what the big media aren't saying. The longer the Kerry campaign tries to simply stifle the story, the more hemorrhaging before the couple get their man-and-wife "stand by your man" interview on national TV.

that is how the press works.
1. twist or invent allegations (yes you can include allegations made in the past, americans have short attn spans)

2. keep hammering those allegations or insinuate impropriety (ie halliburton, AWOL bush, bush "lied")

3. when the truth bubbles up to the surface, ignore it and continue hammering the allegations with new "angles" (for example, why isnt this pilot who served with bush in the NG a guest on every news show, etc?)

The mainstream is not above trying to drag the President's daughter to the bubba level, but when it comes to one of their own, they are the "responsible" journalists.

Imagine if the name Bush was used instead of Kerry to report the intern infidelity. You are correct --the press would report and then figure out if true. Sheesh.!!! I heard a report that the dentist does not remember doing any dental exam on Bush. Excuse me was that not 30 years ago?
