Thanks for posting this, Hildy. I was curious about the story ever since I saw the Enquirer in the checkout line. I never pick them up for fear of an illness I learned about as a child - cooties.

I never pick them up for fear of an illness I learned about as a child - cooties.

I often pick one up and peruse it while on line, though I return it to the rack before checking out. I read it with the same morbid curiosity with which the tongue probes a festering tooth.
