Hey PetroniDE, missed you at the HAT reunion last Saturday.
You will have to ask the YCT folks about their reasons for endorsing one candidate over another - I'm just passing it on.
MCCaul has been running radio ads on KPRC bragging about his father's WWII service and his connection to President Bush's Homeland Security effort, but other than that he isn't giving any significant reason to vote for him.

Work related issue kept me from the HAT party on Saturday. That is the way it goes sometimes.
There are eight people running in the GOP primary for CD-10, and at first glance (based on mailings), all of them seem capable. I have no prior knowledge regarding any of these candidates, so I wonder what special advantage McCaul has.
I understand you are only the messenger in this case. I'll find out why soon enough.

From what I've heard of McCaul he's got some monied family connections. But that's true of practically everybody in the CD 10 race, which is unfortunate. They're practically all a bunch of rich guys trying to buy themselves a seat in Congress. Not one of them has ever done anything substantial in his or her careers to merit that sort of thing.
CD 10 is almost the same and Fastuca there is BAD news period. Moore is a good guy but also a long shot. Poe is the only real choice for conservatives in that district.
