The Clark campaign must've leaked this story to Drudge. Clinton would've been behind that. They probably got Dean to go along because Dean versus Edwards looks pretty good to him.

I'd bet it was Dean that got the story out. He was REALLY pissed about Iowa.

That makes no sense. Clark would have done so before dropping out, before TN, before VA.
