I hope you're wrong, but I find myself agreeing with you on this. The Dems are so hell-bent to defeat Pres Bush that they'll latch on to anyone who they feel has even a shot of doing so. Where they make their mistake, however, is that they are also playing a role in the long term dissolution of the Democratic Party as a viable entity.

Right. But the Kool-aid drinkers aren't his problem. Only about 40% of voters are Dims and 40% are 'Pubs, the fight is over the 20% or so in the middle who are too stupid to realize they shouldn't vote for the Dims! This is who it will affect.
