I'm a staunch defender of the prez, but Robin gets a pass on this.

I want very much to agree with you but I can't because the fact that they choose to debut these attacks on Bush ON FOREIGN SOIL illustrates the weakness of character invloved here.

If Robin had said this same thing in San Francisco prior to saying it in Berlin, then fine, I could agree for the same reasons you mentioned.

The incessant need these people have to be accepted and idolized wherever they may be trumps time and again their respect for our country.

I watched a comedy tape of Robin Williams in '03, it was much worse towards the Republicans and Bush/Cheney than these remarks. He has used humor against politicians for years, just that most of his audience is far left liberal, so he caters to them. I cringe anymore when listening to most comedians, had my funny bone blown off during the Clinton Wars I guess.
