"There is frustration among some conservatives, but mostly it is focused in the think tanks here," says Ed Gillespie, the Republican Party chairman. "I'm keeping my ear to the ground. But I do not believe we're at a point where concern translates into turnout problems."
How amazingly dense. It really points up the problem when elites completely lose touch, like the average voter even stops to consider, think tanks, as a target in dishing out their flustration and disappointment.

The average conservative funding those think tanks most certainly does scream.
Those think tanks are supposed to put our voices across. They have taken our money and failed in that purpose.

Gillespie was on Lou Dobbs last night. It was regarding the offshoring and jobs to anywhere they can and Dobb's was asking Gillespie to explain Bush's assinine statement that this is good for America.
Gillespie was cluless, I still couldn't tell you what he really said. But, to sum it up the MO is "there is no problem"...
My belief at this point. They have no plans to come up with any plans to address anything. The only plan is to keep raising the threat level and upping the scare mongering ante to keep people focused on nationl security.
And that, IMO, is a losing plan.
