Witholding my vote to the last possible moment forces the GOP to do one of two things. Change their policy stances to reflect more conservative ideals or spend more money doing damage control by spinning current policy.

It's there choice not mine, but by withholding my vote I can get something. Giving it away gives me a repreive from their mass mailings and no improvement in policy.

i certainly don't have access and i refuse to encourage some of his hideous policies. i just don't understand him anymore.

Let's see, in 2000 I lived in LA and couln't own a gun, taxes were too high, illegal immigration was out of control, abortion was legal, the government spend too much money, and I perceived our Civil Liberties to be at risk.

So, I got in the car, spend 30 minutes looking for a place to park, and voted for a conservate Republican. George W. Bush to be precise.

Today, I live in LA. I can't own a gun, taxes are too high, illegal immigration is out of control (and is now being rewarded), abortion is legal, the government spends even more money, and our Civil Liberties are at even greater risk than in 2000 (Patriot Act(s)).

So, the only real reason i'm supposed to go out, spend 30 minutes looking for parking, and pull the lever for George W. Bush again is because Saddam Hussein is out of power.

I guess that's just going to have to be good enough. If I were to do anything else, I would be a raving left-wing liberal loonie. At least that's what they tell me.
