Why can't these supposedly intelligent people accept that many of us actually think he did well?

What she thinks is "bumbling" is how Bush always talks, That's his style and we are use to it and like it.
What she thinks is "repetitive" she'd better ask her idol Timmy Russert, how can you not be "repetitive" when you are asked repetitive questions?

She is in my category of Fair Weather Bush supporter.

Help the White House make the case for re-election

Easy. Hanging around my college last week, I met an Arab-Christian professor who is not only pro-America, but also pro-Israel, and frequently talks to his family back in Iran.

He said that the Arabs are fucking scared of Bush. He took out two of their countries with relative ease and with help of only a few allies. Bush is willing to wipe out their countries if push comes to shove.

Kadaffhi knows this and caved faster than Superman on laundry day.

Pundits like a politician to be slick. I can't tell you how many times I've watched a speech or interview that was analyzed afterwards by half a dozen political "experts", only to find myself thinking, "Huh?? That's not what I thought of it at all!"

She's no exception.

Bush is real. It's part of what we love about him, for better or for worse. When will these political professionals begin to "get it"?

She was not enthusiastic in 2000 or 2001 either. Apparently, being a smooth talker is VERY important to her! I would rather have a man of conviction and action in the White House.

What she (and the folks at National Review) refuse to acknowledge is the dims NEVER eat their own. So they see this kind of petty criticism as a sign of weakness in our candidate - and in our entire party.

To bring in a parallel in the world situation - American Muslims do NOT criticize the actions of other Muslims. Dems do not criticize their champions. Period. Full stop.

Peggy is entitled to her opinion, but she should allow us to express ouselves regarding her opinion.
