Great - that was one of my ideas!
If I lived near any population center, I could put into practice ideas like that. But I live waaay out in the boondocks, I'd have to drive more than an hour and a half to get to a town of more than 20K.
I also think fliers with the phone numbers of organizations that help people overcome homosexuality would be great to post in "gay" areas - I can just imagine some poor miserable souls secretly copying the numbers and calling in the privacy of their own homes.
I feel this combination of anger and pity, I don't hate homosexuals at all. I can hate what they do - especially their aggressive takeoever of what's left of the culture - but I am very, very sorry for them.
You should keep a folder in your car somewhere that has fliers in it so that when you DO go to town for any reason, you'll have them with you to spread around. I've left some of mine in restrooms, but since I'm female, none of them have made it into men's rooms! But I have left some on buses, and I plan to plant some in a bookstore--- in the gay/lesbian section, perhaps neatly tucked away inside a book or two. Coffee shops like Starbucks is a good spot to leave them, too.
My favorite one basically says that homosexuality isn't natural or healthy and that Americans should return to their senses and speak out against it instead of condoning it by remaining silent--for the sake of our society. It's short and sweet and colorful!
Also, I love Exodus International's logo (of sorts) which simply says "QUESTION HOMOSEXUALITY."
