Andrew Sullivan, a homosexual activist writing in his book, Virtually Normal, says that once same-sex marriage is legalized, heterosexuals will have to develop a greater "understanding of the
need for extramarital outlets between two men than between a man and a woman." He notes: "The truth is, homosexuals are not entirely normal; and to flatten their varied and complicated
lives into a single, moralistic model is to miss what is essential and exhilarating about their otherness."
Oh, God. I knew it. What a mess. Or rather, 'metrosexual'.

Has a study ever been done to determine what percentage of those who self identify as homosexual
suffered a traumatic experience, physical, emotional, or sexual abuse in their childhood?
This study would be strictly PC verboten, but should be done.

In recent years I have been turned off by so many shows that I had previously enjoyed. The insertion of the gay agenda in any form makes me turn off and tune out permanently. What I have not done and will now do is let my feelings be known by contacting the station and more importantly, the sponsers. Being a 'silent martyr' in these situations does nothing to help turn things around. It's time for us to become as militant as the gays are (within the law) and get OUR points across.

Let's keep in mind the expansion of the legal issues which will eventually explode. The survival rate for hetero marriages is an alarming 50% plus. We can only guess what the disolution rate for gay marriages would be. This will put an unbelievable burden on the courts which are already heavily burdened with frivolous law suits. When and if Mass. and SF marriages are declared null and void there will be an explosion of legal issues. If these marriages are left to stand, just imagine the legal problems created when states refuse to recognise these marriages. We have no idea what a pandora's box is being opened.

It's time to move on and leave this country....a line has been crossed... It's time to pack up and let God send forth his destruction upon this wicked nation and it's purveyers of filth and wickednes... You're probably right. I've had such thoughts many times. Any suggestions on where to go?

You are spot on. Check with the Homosexual Archives - scripter has done a Herculean job collecting information, organizing it according to topic and date. I'll put a link up to it later, I'm super busy right now. Or you can find it easily by doing a search on "scripter", going to his profie page, and linking there.
It is proven already that a large percentage of homosexuals - both male and female - come from very dysfunctional families, broken homes, and were molested or seduced by older homosexuals at a young age, and in the case of women, often molested by men.
Very sad.

Appreciate your thoughts; I am actually not attempting here to convert active homosexuals. There are wonderful organizations that offer reparative therapy of various kinds, faith based and non faith based, to help homosexuals change their lives, if they so wish.
My main goal here is to help people who are NOT homosexual wake up and realize the dangers of not only the homosexual way of life, but the greater danger to society in general if the homosexual activists continue to have their way with the laws, the schools, and the media. People who have succumbed to the homosexual way of life need to first realize that their way of life is wrong and causing them great danger, then they may want to change.
Personally, some people might not call me a "Christian" - depends on how people define that. I am not trying here or anywhere to convert people to any particular sect or form of religion. But I do know that if secularism and the atheism which is its heart becomes the state religion (it practically is now) civilization as we know it is going to go to hell, and anarchy, followed by totalitarianism, will follow.
Love and condemnation are not necessarily different. If you are a parent, or if you can imagine being one, sometimes - if you love your child, you must yell, or punish. You've heard of "tough love". Everyone, whether homosexual or not, needs to hear the truth. And sometimes, the truth hurts. But it hurts good. It does no good to homosexuals or anyone to make them feel comfortable in their lies and in their sin.
Jesus loved the money changers as he whipped them. He did not do that act out of hatred. Not that I am advocating going around whipping anyone, but the principle is that to serve Jesus and serve truth one needs to have the strength to tell the truth, forcefully when necessary.

Your points are not in opposition to the opposition to the normalization of homosexuality. Sexual libertinism is a continuum, with man+woman sex divorced from lifelong marriage, fidelity, and children as the norm. IOW, you seem to be saying the why worry about homosexual marriage when promiscuity and sexual libertinism among heterosexuals is so much more grievous? Heres a retort:
Why worry about AIDS when more die from heart disease?

Those that got licenses in SFO should be arrested, the same way as if they bought a phoney drivers license. It is time to bring the hornets out of ther nest and confront them. Why isn't the terminator reacting.

I would say in the beginning not worry about which judges. State Reps are easier to influence with calls, letters, and faxes, but it needs to be done at all levels. It is an election year, politicians seem to listen a bit more when they are thinking about votes.
This is not something that will happen over night, it will have to be ongoing, many reps can not be influenced, some will come around with enough pressure, a few won't take much pressure.

A good thing to remember is that the homosexual activists didn't get where they are overnight either. They had a plan, they committed time and money to their plan, they were goal oriented, and so on. Many have dedicated their lives to the goal of turning our country (and the world) into their homosexual bordello. And they've come a long way. Those of us who see this need to similarly dedicate ourselves.
Tomorrow I am going to type up a letter Scott Lively has sent out (he's one of the lawyers fighting the SF marriage thing). He's someone who has dedicated his life to this fight, and even those of us who can't do much can assist him and others.
I agree with the arrests. It's as though homosexuals are the first class citizens, the aristocrats who can flaunt the law with no repercussions, and we're the serfs, who must bow and scrape as their carriages rattle by.

Here's an idea:
Contact Al Rantel and see if he'll write a column for FreeRepublic. Maybe he has one online, but I haven't seen it. He is a homosexual man, a radio personality for KABC/LA, and was on O'Reilly the other night saying he spoke as an insider. He is against gay marriage because he said the homosexual lobby's primary interest is furthering the gay agenda. He thinks this will lead to the devaluation of marriage ala Denmark.
SO, I am basically suggesting someone else contact him? Not like I know his email.

Actually, it was not "the heteros" as you claim, but the same folks who are pushing homosexual marriage today.
The LEFT.
They undermined our divorce laws.
They created social welfare that provides incentives to unwed mothers
They promote pornography
They promote adultery
They promote promiscuity
They promote homosexuality
Sure, some of them are heteros, but they are ALL liberals.

Therefore, the real antidote to the "gay" agenda, as well as the breakdown of civilization it heralds, is the spiritual awakening of many individuals, and the understanding that such an awakening is not only important but essential. Just felt like adding a little amen.

That is a very good idea - I probably won't get to it, as I am overwhelmed lately. But I'll think about it. There are also articles by Tammy Bruce (I think that's her last name) - she is a lesbian, but disagrees with much of the "gay" agenda, and has spoken out very strongly against the indoctrination of kids.

I think that point cannot be emphasized too much.
And I mean in a non-sectarian way - since all religions condemn homosexuality, as well as promiscuity, and pre- or extra-marital sex.
I have to admit I'm not crazy about Islam at the moment, though...

I think a coordinated activism would help. If we're watching a show and it's pushing things we just don't want, take note of the sponsors and post them. Let's all write and politely tell them our concern and then boycott those who ignore us. The problem is that even CONSERVATIVES will rarely participate in a serious boycott. Pick a major manufacturer of household goods, and see how many people right here, people who would no doubt agree on the moral issue in play here, will REALLY stop buying a certain brand of dishwashing detergent, or shampoo, or toothpaste, or soup.
I do agree wholeheartedly with you, and I will personally participate in an organized plan, but I just don't believe enough will do so to make a difference. I desperately want to be wrong, but the battle for the heart and soul of this country has been fought over the past several decades. Sadly, we lost. A country that will elect Bill Clinton twice is a country without a moral center.
