In 1994 Theresa Doggett ran for Comptroller in Texas and VERY nearly won. I was on that same ballot, appeared with her on many occasions, and came to know her to be a very articulate and sincere conservative. Given that, if I could vote in this race, it would be VERY hard for me to vote for anyone else but I would HAVE to because
Ben Streusand is in it as well!
Great to have such fine choices but I'm GLAD I don't have to make the choice!

So do I hear you say that Ben Streusand is the best candidate? Is he pretty popular in the Houston area? Here in Austin I hear that Ben's the favorite and ahead in the polls but that it probably will be a runoff between McCaul and Streusand. What you think? What are the chances of Devine?
