[history]
TULARE, Calif. (AP) - Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger asked farmers Wednesday to support Propositions 57 and 58, the bond initiatives he has championed as the best way to save the state from fiscal insolvency.
Schwarzenegger took his campaign to pass the bond measures to the World Ag Expo, the nation's largest farm equipment show. He was joined by representatives of the state's largest farm groups - the California Farm Bureau Federation, the Nisei Farmer League and the Western Growers - to tout the benefits of Propositions 57 and 58.

Hey Norm, will RINOld be the first three year governor of Ca? ROFLMAO Ya know things are bad when you have to go to a bunch of farmers to ask for their support on a bond issue...I hear the governor paid for a gold name plate at his office. I hope they didn't nail it down...he may want it back in a couple of years...

The World Ag Expo is where I got my picture taken with the Klamath Bucket. These are Klamath type people there. I will be most disillusioned if the agriculture industry supports these proposition.

Why has the California Farm Bureau Federation kissing Arnold's posterior. First before the election and now this? He is just going to betray them with his eviro policy.

Have any bills come across Arnold's desk for him to sign or veto or is he too busy selling snake oil...

You know, Norm... (and everybody else posting, hosting and lurking on this site) I'm beginning to overdose on the "Aroma-Therapy" from both Demicrats and now even Repellicans appeasing spendthrift Demicrats... Because it's starting to
STINK UP CALIFORNIA REALLY AWFUL!!!It wreeks!!! It's a wretched STENCH! Not only from the BENCH, but at all levels of government/politics! It's corrupted the Howard Jarvis organization and even many other things conservative to the point that the aroma is overwhelming!!!
None of this bondage is ever gonna make anything better and so-called conservatives kneeling down to this out-rage are sacrificing common sense on the alter of supposed political expediency! It is beyond shameful! Way, WAY, WAY BEYOND!!!
It's an abomination in every aspect and an abject disgrace to the memory of all that has been accomplished by conservatism in the past 40 years, especially in California!!!
If ANY of the four propositions were to be passed in March, it's gonna be "Katie bar the door!"

I had been post-lite the last couple of days,, glad to see I still got it!
It really does make one wonder how so many can be so misled, intentional or otherwise, to believe that socialism is the way to go... and continue down its path, knowingly.
Yet, even today, after a "successful" Recall election of one of the most inept and corrupt governors in recnet American History, here we are, still staring down the double-barreled political system... and the spend and tax mentality that just won't be curtailed, short of open revolution.

Well... I'll tell you what! It's like far too few of the conservatives I used to know on this site never really truly believed one dang word of all that conservatism they've spewed out on here for the last 4-5 years I've been around here. It's humiliating to watch!!!

What happens if the confused populis (is that a word ) votes enough yeses so that all 4 of 55,56,57,58 pass?
What if 56,57 & 58 pass?
What if 56 & 58 passes but 57 does not?
........ You get the idea!!!
Oh and if only 56 passes
and our dream ....
all fail to pass?

Oh, are all of these above mentioned events equally probable?
Or is the probability of each event somewhat different?

Hard to say, we just don;t have much poll data being released.. probably becuz it shows all of them lagging in support.
We only need to bust up the 57/58 pair and that takes them out of play ,, prop 55 is another issue,, as supposedly no one supports more schools , right? Yet, show that it will be money well spent.
Even tho we already are still trying to spend the last monies from the previous bond measure for schools.. and 56 deserves to be tossed on the refuse pile of failed political theatre.

All I know for sure is that if either 57, OR 58 fail, they both fail. 55 and 56 stand or fall alone, like the CHEESE that they are.

I think all the Demonic Rats want is to pass 56.
They are hanging back figuring that it looks tough for Arnoold to get both 57 and 58 passed.
Then if either 57 or 58 fail, they only have to override any veto if Arnoold does so. But they can bring the big stick to the party if he dares to veto anything with Media attacks!

I think your analysis sounds plausible. Do you think the twin Senate biches are insincere?
