Dr. Bob Arnot has claimed that NBC News did not renew his contract as a correspondent after he clashed with news producers who shunned his reports about positive rebuilding efforts in Iraq. The New York Observer is publishing excerpts from an email message sent by Arnot from Baghdad to NBC News President Neal Shapiro, saying in part, "NBC Nightly News routinely takes the stories that I shoot and uses the footage, even to lead the broadcast [but] refuses to allow the story to be told by the reporter on the scene [himself]." He indicated that he was particularly offended when, while the statue of Saddam Hussein was being toppled, news anchor Tom Brokaw declined to put him on the air, even though he was the only NBC reporter on the scene, and instead turned to a British reporter who was also there.

The interesting thing about Neal Shapiro. He also runs MSNBC. He's fired every top conservative who ever worked for MSNBC. Michael Savage, Laura Ingraham, Ann Coulter, Alan Keyes, Pat Buchanon. Guaranteed, Joe Scarborough will be next.

Yeah, he was a good reporter. I know because I trusted him to tell what was going on. Those other guys, with their snooty or affected accents were clearly giving us jive and loving it.

Grant hated his performance in "Arsenic." He thought that Capra was making him mug too much, play it too broad. It was his least favorite movie.

He thought that Capra was making him mug too much Grant could mug with the best of them. In "Arsenic" playing against Karloff and Peter Lorrie you gotta do something to get noticed.

Props, Bob. We won't forget.

Methinks you mean to say that Rock Hudson was gay.
To: Mike Darancette
Grant was not gay.

...shunned his reports about positive rebuilding efforts in Iraq. Great find!
This comes as no surprise whatsoever, and you know what? ABC, CBS, CNN, and most of the newspapers in the country are no different than NBC. My hat is off to people like Bob Arnot, John Stossel, and Bernard Goldberg who have the guts to, FINALLT, begin exposing these liberal-dominated newsrooms across the country for the Democrat scumbag outfits they truly are.
