To its credit, the Boston Globe asked Kerry to give them a waiver so that they could check into his medical records concerning his three Purple Hearts. Kerry REFUSED.

BTW, Kerry's commanding officer said that Kerry did not lose ANY duty days due to injury.

Also, the action that got him a Silver Star--his chasing down a wounded Vietcong on foot--happened just a few days after he was supposedly wounded in the thigh by shrapnel.
