A question that I posted on another thread: Was Kerry still in the Navy Reserve during the Fonda years?

In my (earlier) era, Army officers were obliged to serve for six years. After active duty they were "inactive" reservists with no drill requirements but available for immediate call-up if needed.

If Kerry was a reserve Naval officer his Fonda-philia was even more disgusting ... and perhaps even illegal.
