From an Air Force pilot I dated when I was younger, they are "incredibly unforgiving". Meaning? Tricky and weird.
Do something wrong, the slightest little thing, and you are in a big recovery effort.
On May 1st, 2003, when the President flew in Navy One to land on the carrier, he was in a far more forgiving aircraft. Much more forgiving.
(Gosh as a Navy person, I just love that designator: Navy One.)
