Bill Clinton cheerleader historian Douglas Brinkley has published a book about John Kerry — Tour of Duty : John Kerry and the Vietnam War.

Douglas Brinkley is a member of the Gang of 400 that called themselves Historians in Defense of the Constitution — Gang of 400 used academic credentials to falsely claim expertise in the U.S. Constitution and impeachment, but some were merely librarians and most are specialists in non-Constitutional and esoteric subjects such as welfare statism, gender studies, womens' studies, multicultural programs, and the creation of another elite and privileged constituency, homosexuals.
