I think we're going to have a lot of our non-gun-owning neighbors knocking on our doors if/when the balloon goes up, asking to "borrow" a gun. I saw this happen already during the Rodney King riots of April 1992.

This isn't going to be riot like, or war against foreign troops on our soil, shooting from street to street, etc. All these nice images of firearms look real nice, but wont do any good, IMOH.

Again, the only real way to stop this brutal mass murder of our people, is to end the open border madness, and immigration "free for all". Once in, they can wreck unbelievable havoc.

I agree 100%. As for having the means to defend oneself, well, I've never known anything to be a 100% garauntee, and I'd rather have a good rifle than not, just in case there is a chance to employ it. The long-running situation in Israel is a good example of this. Sometimes ya win, and sometimes ya lose. But it sure beats dying like a helpless sheep.
