Probably the saddest aspect to any new organized coordinated attack is that after an initial period of panic (which could be brief and as little as a few hours), I would expect that the rank and file in the americas will begin to take their frustarations out on anybody who remotely looks Muslim or Mid Eastern. I'm more worried that the reaction will be, "we brought it on ourselves", "we deserved it", "we had it coming", etc.
