I don't doubt they want to. But look at the last couple years. We had one home grown sniper nut, and another going ape at a ticket counter at LAX. One sergeant over in Kuwait right before the war. Nobody else has been able to get off a thing, here. There have been attempts in England, mostly thwarted, and France (including Reid the shoe guy), stopped. There have been serious hits in the periphery, and in the Muslim world, and in Israel. But not here. It isn't because they don't want to. Therefore, it is because they can't. Even though is lots of ways we are wide open. There are 3 million Muslims here. Apparently, not too taken with the radical jihadi program. They aren't the monolith some think.
