Gret job! The answer above is very depressing. Here, the WH spokesman was given the softest pitch he will ever receive and what does he do, he ducks. Our guys are friggin' cowards and wimps and if they don't learn how to fight they will be history. The other side cheats, lies and steals and our side won't even fight back. No, this was perfectly correct. The White House should keep hands off of Kerry until he has the nomination locked. Let Kerry have enough rope to hang him with. If the Demorats want to shoot their pitifiul wad this early, let 'em.

The Kerry people are nervous. They want to innoculate Kerry against his VVAW days well before the general election. That's why they are trying to draw the POTUS into this scuffle. If the WH gets into it, the issue will play out. IF the WH lays off, they can hit him hard later. The problem for the Kerry people is that they overplayed their hand. They forgot that there is a new source for information that's not the mainstream media.

I agree with you - though it's awfully tempting to allow the liberal media/dems to pull the President and White House into the fray with their weird accusations.
Perhaps if Mr. Gannon is able to continue this line of question he will be able to embarrass the other media into a position where they will have to deal with these issues. Fingers crossed!

You must have been talking to my husband. This is exactly what he has said. I can't repeat what I've said.
