I was wondering what you were talking about - the Flagship built after the 1900 storm??? No way. Ah -ha! You mean the Galvez. Yes, it took 10 years to recover from the storm. The causeway opened to regular traffic, the seawall was built, the rest of the island had been raised, and being the whore's we are - we built a big beautiful hotel to attract tourists. GAGGGGG.
It's Mardi Gras again. Even in the rain we're going to have 500,000 drunks. It's tons of fun though. Everybody can come down next weekend, the rain should be over.
