We are not fighting in Iraq because of 9/11. Go over your notes. We are fighting in Iraq becuase they violated UN resolution 1441. They received fair warning and much opportunity to comply. Please tell me, in light of today's info about WMD in Iraq, why do you suppose Saddam refused to comply? What was he hiding? My guess is, we still do not know the whole story. As much as anything, this reveals how worthless the weapons inspectors were.

Look up the IAEA report (UN report) regarding Iraq, dated December, 2002. Remind yourself what THEY said Iraq had. Then read Thomas Sowell's column about weapons of mass political destruction.
