I admit to being an infrequent listener (perhaps for two or three hours a week). But I have never heard him say he "admires" Kerry. I have heard him say Bush is a doofus and a "Forrest Gump" like he did tonight. To be honest- from what I saw of that interview- that is not an out of line description. Even conservative commentators were appalled by his performance. To not point that out and demand that the President get his act together would be the real crime.
Also tonight Jay defended Bush quite handily against what I thought was a "seminar" call from a Dem stoodge.
I did hear Jay describe Kerry as "puppet head" and incapable of expressing emotion the other day.

I heard him a good number of times saying that he admires Kerry. He says that he admires Kerry service in Vietnam but also he agrees with Kerry for his anti-Vietnam record, i.e. his shameful anti-Vietnam record. He may criticze Kerry very rarely but this is not enough at all for a man who claims that he wants Bush to be re-elected but trashes Bush instead.
