I am sooooo freakin upset at the way W has been treated that I'm GOING TO WALK THROUGH GLASS to bring tons of voters to VOTE for W!! I'm pissed and I'm ready to RUMBLE with the hellish rats!!

You are not alone. A colleague of mine today was so down about Imus and Russert today and their glee in what they consider the President's weak showing. I told him the only thing he could do with that was get out and work on the campaign and he has agreed. This is coming from a man in his early 50s, who opposed the Viet Nam war as a teenager and young adult. The Dems should just keep it up as far as I am concerned, they are attacking a man who is truly loved and respected by too many of us.

Well.. maybe this interview did what it what supposed to do.. The Rats in their glee are forgetting that the majority of the people dont like to see a president put down and attacked. This is going to backfire like it did against the repbs in 1996 with Clinton.

If this truly becomes an issue in the fall (i have real doubts that it has that kind of legs), America will be treated to some firsthand accounts of Kerry's post-war exploits. Kerry is just sending a shot across our bow. I say, big deal.

Again, if Americans decide the election based on this issue, there will be a lot more exploration before decision day. Moreover, Kerry's goal of diminishing Bush's credibility will surely work in the short run, but I think a comparison of the two side-by-side in the fall will erase any of Kerry's gains.
