Chichester must have sold the GOP mailing list to Warner. I got some marketing piece the other day called the "Fund for Virginia" or such. It was basically a velied attempt at enlisting support for more taxes to benefit the children i.e. schools. The board of directors was full of state dignitaries including Chichester and former Sen. Trible.

Yes, I got that mailing, too. It was from "The Foundation for Virginia", a new pro-tax group.
Another freeper's recent post said the Teachers union has been going to PTA meetings to get their mailing lists for this giant mailing. As such, most everyone in VA with kids in public schools got the mailing.
The mailing also contained 2 postcards for me to mail...one customized to my Senator, the other to my delegate...asking them to spend MORE on education.
Somebody paid a lot of money for custom-printed mailings and postcards, in order to push for higher taxes.
We need to keep the NO TAX HIKE MESSAGE constantly going to our Senators and Delegates.
Please send them an email on this...if you have not already!
