I think what Hammer did wrong was that he was commenting on how strong or weak the evidence was. That was clearly inappropriate and he should know that as a Prosecutor. There hasn't been a Jury picked yet and all these commentators haven't helped. Although, OTOH, there has to be some balance against the gaggle of Defense Lawyers and their constant stream of verbal diarrhea!!

I know, I get sick of seeing defense attorneys get on there and go into their "righteous defender" mode. But remember, everyone plays a part in "morality play" TV. A prosecutor is a public servant. As such, he gets certain privileges; but he also has to act a certain way, or lose his job.
