I was thinking the *same thing* -- for one, "come on, Howie, I thought it was so easy to raise money on the Internet! Just snap your fingers and the coffers should be replenished, right?"

The other point is.. geeze, how would you feel, you democrats out there -- having given money to Real Mad Howard and had it end up in the fired Joe Trippi's pockets? Wonderful use of your cash. That rivals California's tax dollars.

Exactly. I would be awfully upset. In a way, I almost feel sorry for the Deaniacs because so many of them were young people who might not have as much disposable income as more politically seasoned adults. And disposable is apparenty what their donations were.
