Doesn't matter to them. I have been watching DU lately and the question came up about do we care about qualifications and the answer was a big resounding no! Anybody but Bush. But you are referring to Independents and dissatisfied Repubs. If they continue to listen to the media who will cover this up, it won't matter.

Well, the election will be only a few weeks after the anniversary of 9-11. Maybe that will cause people to reflect a bit.
