RUSH keeps saying how objective he is. I don't get it. Of course I haven't watch his show in many years because of his leftwing garbage.

Well, technically-speaking, Russert looks objective in comparison to Peter Jennings or Dan Rather. Still, I've not seen anything out of Tim Russert to indicate that he doesn't let his political leanings surface according to who he is interviewing. I don't picture him ever getting tough with Madame Hamhocks. Sometimes, I think that Rush lets his feelings of how well he gets along with people out of the office cloud what he says about them professionally.

Rush says that he's fairly objective in comparison to the rest of the mainstream media, which is true: about 60% of the time, Russert calls it down the middle.

Perhaps Russert has befriended Rush and Rush does not want to ridicule a friend's poor journalism.

Russert stayed away from the recent issue of homosexual marriage. An obvious strong point of the President.

Russert stayed away from DIRECTLY asking about new tax cuts and making current cuts permanet. Bush had to slip in the democrat efforts to raise taxes.

He als tried to make the capture of Osama Political with that absurd quote that we would capture osama before the election.
