The Clinton administration used "humanitarian" reasons do defend going into Kosovo, partly because of the world's failure to go into Rwanda. We said we didn't go into Rwanda because we had no vital interests there, and we didn't have vital interests in the Balkans either, but we had to go for humanitarian reasons.
Now we say that went into Iraq for WMD and for humanitarian reasons, and yet the Left and Democrats are discounting the humanitarian aspects and saying that the interests (oil) are too vital to objectively assess the situation.
Damned if you do, and damned if you don't.

Gee, I would have thought the 'hardest part of being President' would be sending young people to their death. No?
I think GW would have said that if he were asked what is the hardest part of being commander in chief. Also, I think you are being a bit unfair to him, since you just signed up today solely to put him down, it seems. War is not easy for anyone. I am sure decisions relating to war, for the purpose of freeing others, are not easy decisions for President Bush either. Would you have preferred that Saddam continued to send young people to their deaths, with no end in sight? No? Well, I would say no to that as well.

Timmy Boy even had the audacity to POINT his finger at GW as he was making some point. Very poor decorum considering he was in the OVAL OFFICE talking to the President of the United States. Tough questions are FINE, follow ups are fine, but no way his displeased and angry demeanor would have been present were it a Democrat he was interviewing.

Well... I'm glad I won't be fighting those battles. I mean, I'm for the war on terror and all but we can't fight everyone's war for them.

Who said anything about "those battles"..?
FREEDOM comes to Iraq and Libya immediately coughs up its Weapons of Mass Destruction Programs to us.
They'll be more to follow from others.
Remember when the Enemy Within JESSE JACKSON kept going to Libya to pick up a paycheck..?
No MO.

and less likely the terroist will strike this nation. There will be another terrorist attack, however, the more we kill Al - Qeda, less likely it will happen.

Like the Democrats are going to start enforcing the immigration laws if Bush is kicked out?

9/11, 2001 will never end. The war with the terrorist will go on and on. National Security is our #1 priority and should be every President of the United States #1 priority as well. We need the likes of George W. Bush more now than ever before.

Russert: Why do people hold you with such contempt?
Please folks, help me bring some cheer to our beloved president! SEND A VALENTINES POSTCARD to our president! Let him know how much we respect and love him! PASS THIS ALONG TO ANYONE on your mailing list!! Let's bombard the WH with tons of CARDS!!
To: varon
You seem to conclude that the person who replaces him will spend less and make us more secure.
I think that is a very unwise conclusion. I am voting for Bush even though I don't like some of his spending. I am far less afraid of him than I am of Kerry or some other idiot Democrat.
We have had enough time with Dim presidents. We don't need any more. And no, no third party candidate can win!

If you think that the circumstances that brought about 9/11 are only a thing of the "past," you're out of touch with reality. You're still caught up in the moment. You just don't understand, do you?

A Democrat Sitting U.S. Senator and a Democrat Former Mayor of New York City agree with you and have said over and over again in the clear on National TV that they are voting for Republican President BUSH's 2nd Term...
...for their own family's sake in Time of War.
