Was there a live thread regarding the MTP interview? I haven't found it as of yet.

There is no amount of intelligence that would satisfy the libs and dems, to justify our Iraqi efforts.

I watched it and did not feel that Russert was at all prepared. York is one of my favorites.

Bush was tentative, Bush was Bush. Anything substantive you care to comment on?

How many 9/11's does it take to convince democrats of a threat? How many more thousands would need to die for democrats to respond with serious force?
To: bonesmccoy
Oh, yeah. W kicked butt. It was important that he look good, and he did.
Ryan just praised Bush. She is a lib from NPR.
To: leadpenny
The libs prefer draft dodgers over an honorably discharged National Guardsman.

It was a mistake to go on. Bush seemed tentative, defensive, and frankly stammered at times. This will not lose him the election, but it was a bad move. Totally unnecessary. Another Rove blunder. It is going to take some good advertising to show the immense amount of baggage that comes with Kerry. He is a total phoney. THAT is where the election will be won. Just show Kerry for what he is. In the meantime, for God's sake, keep Bush OFF live TV!
To: jwalsh07
He wasn't tentative that's just his style...he doesn't hate his enemies the way I hate his enemies. There is none of that "Al Gore ignorance" in him.
In a sense this drives me nuts, just as it did during the debates of 2000...the door is constantly left open for the President to walk through and shove it up the opponents butts yet he won't do it.

I didn't see the interview, but your summation doesn't match what I read on another thread?
MJY, how was it?

Thanks for this post! I saw the interview and thought it was great. He is a true leader and I know I feel safer in this world because he is President.

Hi Howlin! York just made a point that I agree with. Few minds that have already been made up were changed, but some of those on the fence may now support the President.
I thing W was talking to "everyman" not Russert.
To: Howlin
Tentative must be the buzzword flash faxed this morning to all the demo shills.
I saw it and he answered the questions in a very straight forward manner.
