I would wonder about the truthfulness of this statement. Anybody else out there care to comment???

I have a feeling it's only the Clintoon holdovers who are "dispirited!" Down here at the 0-4 level (retired) I don't see much anti-rummyism. Regards, Avery

I'd say that the only ones dispirited are the perfumed princes who got their stars and bars by kissing up to the right people. The real military people just love him. You hear someone bitching about Rumsfeld, you can just about take it to the bank that he's an incompetent who got to the top by clawing his way over the guys who should be leading.
