Russert threw out the opening volley, and Bush said, whoa, wait a minute, let me give you background info first. That set the tone. Bush was not going to let Russert control the interview. And you're right about the interruptions. Russert looked childish.

I'm taping it ... couldn't sit and watch the whole thing right now and didn't want to see bits and pieces.
But I watched for a few minutes with no sound.
The President looked great--confident, charming, persuasive and, well, cute.
He was talking a good long time and then they cut to Russert--he looked like a cross little hen, fat-faced and pouty.
Sometimes it's neat to see body language without the words.
