Do other Freepers have an opinion on President Bush's opinion?

I have mixed feelings. Sincere, certainly. Hesitant at other times. Almost too polite to Russert, if that makes sense.

Do you get Russert later in the day? I guess I'm not confortable making judgments on Bush's demeanor.

Bush is at least always polite. Even in the face of B.S. questions.

POTUS is always polite. Maybe even too polite for our tastes. But, the independents and the not-deaf-and-dumb democrats think well of him for it.

Answers and words are important, but demeanor is everything...does he look strong and confident in his answers......

In the beginning, he was a little uneasy, but after he warmed up, his demeanor was great. I now see that the comment that he "took over the interview" is accurate.

MTP airing right now. President Bush addresses the first of the WMD questions and he got animated toward the end of his answer. I notice he had to say to Tim "let me finish", and he did not say that angrily, more like "just a minute".....Evidently as President Bush was explaining the actual content of what Kay has said Russert was not listening.

I see that is confirmed as Russert begins the repetitive questioning and is not accepting anything President Bush says.

I thought the President was very forceful. Yes, he did hesitate a little, but he was just trying to word things correctly. I know this bothers the slick-meisters in the dem party, but I personally don't have a problem with it.
