Russert: Do we have a pretty good idea where OBL is?

Bush: I won't comment on that.

MTP. Did you bring country to war on false pretenses?

GWB; We used what we believe to be valid info, made in context of war on terror. Couldn't ignore anything.

Russert: How to you respond to critics that you brought the nation to war on false pretenses.

Bush: Sitting behind this desk, I made the decision on the best intelligence we had available and on intel other countries thought was valid. Also, in viewof 9/11, every threat had to be viewed through that lens (words to that effect).

We look at the intel and remembered the fact that he used WMD and paid suicide bombers and funded terrorist groups and that was the intelligence I was using.

We/I expected to find stockpiles of weapons. David Kay has found the capacity to produce weapons. Saddam could have destroyed weapons, they could be hidden, they could be transported to another country. The Iraqi SUrvey Group is lookin at this too.

David Kay did report to the AMerican people that Saddam had the capacity to make weapons.

I made the decision to go to the UN because I don't think AMerica can stand by and hope for the best from a madman.

We can't wait for it to become imminent. It's too late when it's imminent.
