Timmy keeps asking GW if he will "testify" before the intelligence commission or the 9/11 commission..

implying that GW has done something wrong.

GW ably responded--I'll visit with them, I've given daily briefings, etc.... he's given them all the information he can, "all in the context of war."

MoveOn.Org is a 527.

It is a "political" entity that is not affiliated with a candidate or party directly, but can raise funds, run ads, etc.

"...Which makes me think that the DNC does not want anyone to hear what President Bush might say on the issue..."

Hmmmmmm......You may be right THERE.

Although, Carl Rove may not want this EITHER.

We think President Bush is doing just fine. In fact, contratsted to 4 years ago, he is a much more assertive and confident man.

Edwards is a despicable, lying little creep.

His faux sincerity is so blatant! The press couldn't stop talking about Bush's smirk, but I don't think they've mentioned Edward's smirk yet. It's unbelievably smug.

My opinion exactly ..I was quoting Brit. The American electorate(that middle, those independents that swing an election one way or another) may be more like Brit calls it than I call it,though.

I thought the quote they used was a good one. They pointed out that the latest polls show Kerry ahead & said the president was mounting an offense because of that.

**Point is, as George implied**

Ahem. That would be President George W. Bush not George like you're talking about your next door neighbor or something.

I do wish President Bush would have asked Russert where Russert and McCauliffe served. I sure the hell would have.

I wish the President would invite fat Timmy to jog w/him or come on down to the ranch and cut cedar. Work some of that fat and attitude off real quick!

I agree that the tough questions are important in that they give the President a forum to answer the questions of the day.

Of course, the questions are all slanted left, but the Presidnet dealt with the horrors of war so can easily deal with the likes of mr. potatohead.

I detest Russert's tone and demeanor when asking about the bogus AWOL charge. By adopting that serious attitude he acted like he thought there might be something to the story. He knows damn well those records have been available, yet he asks if the president will "make them" available.

Yep, Bush did good answering redundant questions, and the unadulterated bias ... same old liberals

You are right. The President did a very good job.The difference between the President and those who want to tear him down is,the President has a vision for this country,a quality that a good leader should have.A responsibility to protect this country, while those who want his job criticize him for it.All the Democrats have is rhetoric. They keep pounding away at what the President has done wrong, but what is their vision? What is their plan for this country? If it is so much better than the President's why are they not spelling out their plan to do away with these rogue nations, that threaten this country,or the terrorist, that if given the chance would destroy us?The answer or non-answer tells it all. They will do the same thing as the last Democrat administration ,and in today's world that is asking for disaster.

"The President did a wonderful job."

I love Bush so I hate to say this but I don't think it went well. He stammerd too much and went around in circles.
