No he was in the 136th. He flew F-102 and later F-106 interceptor aircraft from the former Ellington AFB...Impressive. The Delta wing 102's and 104's were hot ships. They were not known for forgiving a pilot of his mistakes. If Bush has a pilots log book with at least 1,500 hours in 02/06's, he spent more time in jeopardy of life and limb than did Kerry with his four months in 'Nam.

The picture, the picture, the picture, get off the picture it's about the ISSUE!

Ask Laz about Zogby's Special Sauce©. He caught on to Zogby back in 2000. Nothing's really changed.

**If the message you send the Repubs is "Do what ever you want, I'm behind you all the way", well don't be surprised when the Repubs do exactly that: anything they choose**
I believe the message is: We support our president. We may not agree with him on every issue but he's done a good job overall. You can't pout just because you don't get your way on everything.

"It's consistent with the interview where she keeps refering to her "husband" and meant Senator Heinz."
Perhaps a reference to happier times. Sad, really.

For the record --
Tim Russert was born in 1950 so was a member of the last birth year for the draft lottery. As he is a college and law school graduate, he neatly avoided having to have a 'Vietnam decision' on his resume.

Per Tenet (I have often linked up to his July statement and can find it easily if you wish, or Google "Tenet's Statement" and you can find it), a sub group within the CIA sent Wilson *on their own initiative*. Tenet didn't send him.
Tenet goes on to say the resulting "report" was so worthless it was not briefed to the President, VP, or any Senior Administration officials. That whole story that Cheney sent Wilson and it was his idea, and that the President or VP even knew about the trip and his "findings", was a Joe Wilson lie.
Oh, is it a coincidence that Wilson is on the Kerry campaign, as you point out? I think not.

Zbig worked for Carter as I recall? What were his foreign policy achivements again?
To: citizen
You'll have to look at my earlier posts regarding Edwards for that answer. (hint: give him a balloon)
I worry more about Evan Bayh as V.P. nominee. He's very "centrist" and the Dims are looking for that to grab swing voters.

Please see post 1135.
I voted for G.H.W. Bush and got the same results :(
Perot sounded good for a while but hearing "We just need to get under the hood and fix it" as the solution to most any problem seemed increasing hollow.
Consider: Oneal as Treasury Secretary would seem sane and orderly compared to Perot as President.
A guess: Electrical Engineer?

Look! If you post an idiotic picture you should know people are going to tell you about it.
If you wanted to talk about issues you wouldn't have posted the picture.

Time for Cheney to come clean and answer questions or dump him in 04. Get him out before he did a Nixon '74 on all of us. The GOP can't afford to have two Nixons in its history.
You are an idiot!

She meant Julian is the liberal on the show, providing the "balance", not that she thinks Julian is the best of the bunch.
Right, Cmom?

(why they hate him, I have no idea. disagreeing with him on policies is one thing, but they hate him)
I'll tell ya exactly why they hate him.
You're quite right. It's a burning, seething hatred that radiates from every fiber in their being. They see President Bush as a dumb hick Texan who was AWOL and cheated them out of a chance to have another one of their icons (Algore) in the White House. But, they've hated him long before the 2000 elections.
They thought that they had more than enough dirt on him to be able to muddy his reputation and spoil his chances. Their efforts, however, have failed again and again. These continuous failures and President Bush's continued successes have made them so infuriated that they're on the edge of a massive fit of depression -if not, a need for a suicide watch. Again and again, this dumb hick Texan has outsmarted them and done it with a smile on his face. The media has fed on this, as have the Hollywood moronic dolts going to all the, "Hate Bush," events.
I like to think of them as the annoying, little, anklebiting, mouse-sized dog that some people have. They'll bark and yap to the point where they start choking. Then, they'll go get a drink of water and do it all over again.

Judging from the tone of all your posts, you are doing all you can to make certain that President Bush is not reelected.Actually I think the President, with inept performances like today's, is managing to do that all by himself.
