That poll was before the Kerr and NRCC upped the ante on Chandler and started attacking him for his flip flops and past false ads and attacks.
I don't think polls can really measure turnout in an election like this, in any event. It will depend on the success of the 72-hour program.

Lexington has pockets of ultra-liberlism, but on the whole, it's not that liberal of a city. Fletcher carried it most of his congressional races, Bush carried it, and Fletcher and Grayson carried it in the State elections last year. I guess if it was just old urban Lexington before the merger that area is probably where you find the liberalism.

I'm not familiar with the city as a whole, just my co-workers, which obviously do not reflect the whole city. Out of ten of us in my office, I am the only Republican and Christian. It really is good for me because I have to constantly defend my viewpoints both politically and religiously.
