If you call killing an already wounded enemy just to take a souvenir "valor" then you are easily impressed.
If you call that lie about Kerry a fact instead of a viscious political attack on a true combat veteran then you are easily taken in. And have very little respect for the military service and fellow combatants who would not speak out against it if it had actually happened.
Things like that certainly did happen in Vietnam. But they were exceedingly rare and almost never went unpunished. Especially if an Officer was involved. Someone would have squealed just to get revenge for his being an Officer. And I expect I am less easily impressed than most here.
Doesn't it strike you as at all strange that so many Vietnam combat Vets turn out to be traitorous, bloody handed, seditious Commie Pinko's? With no honor or loyalty toward our country?
But are only "outed" as such after they oppose George W. Bush? Of course that's all a coincidence.
