Other than listening to the demons wail about the deficit, what difference has it made in any of your lives? None. Interest rates have not gone up.As the man falling pst the tenth floor said, "So far, so good." Just because the earth didn't immediately swallow the United States when the deficit hit 500 billion doesn't mean that there won't be long-term consequences. At some point taxes will have to go up to pay for this horn of plenty and that's going to hit the economy hard.

This is either a joke you don't believe, or a tragedy if you believe it.

If you were truly conservatives, you would be stopping to think about the freedom you DIDN'T lose. That statement could be applied to any action of any government at any time in history. I think you and I may have a different idea as to what constitutes a conservative.

We are at war. They aren't here, WE are there. Good work. Anyone voting against GWB this November is voting for Al Qaeda. It's as simple as that.

Other than listening to the demons wail about the deficit, what difference has it made in any of your lives? Do you consider anyone who disapproves of, or even decries, the looming deficits, to be 'wailing demons'?
Pretty extreme position.

Welcome to the wonderful world of "Flamed by Unappeasables " I say that is jest , but I think your appraisal is correct. Obviously, some who would rather experience the agony of victory or the thrill of defeat, do not agree with you.
You're posting what should be common sense , but , hey, prejudice is tough to overcome.

I don't believe the anger should be directed at President Bush alone. Congress makes the laws and appropriates the money. The Democrats water down the bills and add their pork and for some reason the republicans let them get away with this in order to pass it. Bush has the right to veto anything that passes his desk and yet he doesn't.
I'm not a Bushbot as much as I was after 9-11 but I'll pick him over the chuckle heads running against him.

Eitehr one of two things. For years conservatives were wrong about deficits or the reply in post two is accurate. Either way, it's not good.

This post is the mirror image of the 'Bush is the antichrist' vanities.
That's my opinion.

You make some interesting points which I will take the time to consider.
Thank you for your obvious hard work in drafting this document.

Hell i agree with 99.9% of everything you posted but i think some conservatives are more Libertarian than Conservative. they act like it anyway !

I don't believe in flaming fellow conservatives.
So I'll just ask a question.
Do you believe, down deep in your heart, that if the "reforms" included in the new medicare entitlement law actually lead to reduced costs...............
that the annual amount spent on "medicare" will ever be reduced?
Ever?

All in all, I'm a supporter of Bush. Notwithstanding all the good stuff we agree on, implementing the largest socialist program since LBJ is disappointing, to say the least.
