Your tagline is very misleading, at best. Bush's comment about "What do I know? I'm just the President" was NOT about the halftime show, but in a pre-game interview about who would win the game.

I seem to remember it being on at halftime, before the notorious performance... though given my blood alcohol content that day, I may be in error on that. There is no inference that the statement was about the halftime show.

That quote ranks with the wittiest things I've ever heard out of an public official... a broad swipe at those who call him a numbskull or similar disparagements about his intellect, done in good humor.
