"So what are my choices between black and white as far as letting my pets roam on my property? What right do coyotes have to dictate that. How was the bird able to fly without tail feathers? Did the bird make it home to its family? What do you call restraining an animal if it is not locked into a pen or a house?"

Can you think of any choices other than the two extremes?

How do you see coyotes "dictating" to you? Do you write it or is recorded by voice?

What other ways are there for you to keep your pets safe without locking them up or letting them roam free where coyotes might kill them? Do you think that coyotes should be required to go to school and learn to read and write and understand the concept of "human property" as opposed to "the woods"?
