Good job!

"If you were seeing what we are you might be too."

That's the problem...Those making the laws are thousands of miles away and do not see the carnage nor have to deal with the results of their decisions. Those that support the re-introduction are also either too far away or have yet to feel their effects, a far cry from the cuddly animals they see on Animal Planet or Discovery Channel.

Still, the lamest statement yet has been Sunsong's, "...I have no problem with people shooting wolves that come onto their property." Show me a wolf that respects property rights and can read no trespassing posts. And does the person making the comment consider "property" half an acre. 5 acres, 100 acres 1000 acres, because, like it or not, there are people out there (all capitalistic pigs, fer sure) who own alot of property. And, to the disbelief of some on this thread, the owners of these properties do not all want to ravage the landscape/wildlife. Most, in fact, buy the land to maintain the balance of wildlife that exists. And the wolves, left unmanaged, will do more harm than any human/bulldozer can do to the wildlife.

And as to "hysterical" websites, those that have a hard time facing reality call things hysterical, and those same people retreat to a warm and fuzzy website, a haven where they can justify their ignorance.

Here's hoping the wolves spread to Utah in a "fast and furious' manner, so that dealing with wolves is no longer a TV or website luxury, where we then will witness the conversion of one Sunsong. But, then again, by then perhaps wolves will have agreed to respect and stay off private property! Problem solved!

I take it you are no longer "respectfully disagreeing" with me? That didn't last long :-)

It was you who said that you could co-exist with wolves, as long as their numbers were "controlled" and they were "controlled" by man.

As to sources and web sites, I think the article I posted was pretty good. What specifically in it do you disagree with?

And as to my statement that I have no problem with people shooting wolves that come onto their property. I was asked the question -- "what about a wolf coming onto to someone's private property?"And my answer is that I have no problem with someone shooting a wolf that comes onto their private property. It seems to me that it is the anti-wolf folks who think that wolves ought to be able to tell the difference between federal lands and private property. Am I wrong?
