Senator Warner has always been a scumbag. He's a Jeffords-in-waiting.

"Politics be damned! Let's consider what's best for the men and women of this great state and their families and children," said Warner, considered the senior statesman in the state GOP. Senior Statesman?? That's a term of repsect and even endearment and does not apply in this case. From where I stand and among other Republicans of my acquaintance, John Warner is the most hated GOP elected official.
