BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- A developer hopes to convert an aging limestone mill into living space.

Randy Cassady of Woolery Ventures LLC wants to convert the 76,000-square-foot Woolery Stone Mill to house 42 condominiums, a 55-room hotel and conference center, a climbing facility and a restaurant-pub. The mill, which has been vacant for nearly 10 years, served as a backdrop in the movie "Breaking Away."

Limestone sometimes = radon...

I'd find another place to live.

Hmmmmm. That never occurred to me. We had to have a radon inspection when you get a mortgage. I don't know if it was law or bank policy. I wonder if this place will pass.

"Breaking away" is one of the greatest movies of all time. It's responsible for the line that goes something like.... " College does something to a girl's {insert Janet Jackson anatomy}"

I wonder if this place will pass.

that probably all depends on the politics of the deal.

florida's built on limerock, and we seem to be ok.

or do we?

Limestone is ubiquitous in the area and everyone knows about the issue of radon.

I know this mill and I think the conversion is a great idea. Probably some left wing wackos will find some reason (like radon) to protest it.
